Well, here is my first blog of the year…

It’s a new year with new resolutions! I’ll elaborate a little more later on tonight. I have a lot on my mind that I’m going to share right here on my little web space.

Happy b-day Chris! Yesterday was my son’s 17th b-day! Can you believe I have a 17 year old son and I’m only 35? 

To celebrate his b-day we went to Jekyll & Hyde. It’s one of the his and his sisters’ favorite places to go for a birthday celebration. The staff at the restaurant do a nice job of making the kids feel special for their b-days. Here is an example of the things they tell the kids; “We hope you die!” “You’re celebrating your b-day and people are dying all over the world”. It’s really sick but the kids absolutely love it and I enjoy nothing more in life than watching them enjoy themselves.

Thanks to Kevin and Mikkie for joining us. It wouldn’t have been as much fun as it was if you two weren’t there! Especially when Kevin burnt his finger with the candle, and no, it wasn’t my fault. 😉

I’ll get more personal about my goals later on this evening….

I guess by now everyone knows that the kids made it home safely. I’m going to try to post here more often…

My kids are on their way home from Puerto Rico! My daughter called me from the plane when they were getting situated on the flight.

They sounded disappointed to be coming home so I’m sure they were enjoying themselves. I can’t wait till they land to hear their voices again and know that they are safe!

I’m on the phone with my daughter right now. The plane has just landed in San Juan, P.R. Unfortunately, JetBlue’s website is not updated as often as I’d wished it would be. It would have been nice to add one more pic of the flight having landed. Okay, it’s time for me to start my workday!

They should be descending right about now. This is my sons favorite part of the flight! Hope they are having a good flight. Here is where they are right now:

My kids are on their way to a week of fun filled relaxation in Puerto Rico! They called me just before take off (about 5:45 a.m.). They woke me up bigtime! I woke up to my cell phone ringing (my son) and my home phone ringing (my daughter) at the same time. They were trying to see who would get me first. I fooled them, I answered both phones at the same time. LOL Here is where they are right now…

Can’t wait till they get there to here their voices. It’s always exciting to here them excited!

I’ll be going to the Yankee game tomorrow night with a friend. It’s the first time that she ever goes to a baseball game so it should be fun. I’ll post back and hopefully get a new recording done after the game or first thing the morning following.

Let’s go Yankees!

Joe Torre celebrated his 65th birthday tonight. What better gift can the Yanks give him then to win a game that put them in 1st place!!! Yes, that’s right, the Yanks are in 1st place and let’s hope it stays that way.

Happy birthday to Joe Torre and congratualtions to the Yanks!
